Wladimir B. Krzyzanowski (1824-1887) was a Polish American who worked as an engineer in New York. During the Civil War, Krzyzanowski commanded the 58th Regiment of the New York Volunteer Infantry, known as the Polish Legion. The Legion served in the Battles of Bull Run, Chancellorsville, Chattanooga, Cross Keys, and Gettysburg.
